Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of this website to book, manage and pay for appointments with Dr. Suman Kotwal at Dr. Suman Kotwal Clinic ("we", "us", "our clinic"). By using this website you agree to these terms.

1. What this website does

This website lets you create a patient account, view available appointment slots, book a consultation, receive appointment confirmations, and pay the consultation fee online. Each appointment slot is 20 minutes long and the system automatically prevents two patients from being booked into the same slot.

2. Not for medical emergencies

This website is for scheduling non-emergency consultations only. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call your nearest hospital or emergency services immediately — do not use this website or wait for an online appointment.

3. Booking, accuracy & check-in

4. Fees & payment

Consultation fees are shown before you confirm a booking (see our Pricing page) and can be paid online via Cashfree (cards, UPI, net-banking, wallets) or in person at the counter. A platform fee and applicable GST apply on top of the consultation fee for every booking, however you pay — see our Pricing page for the exact breakdown. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for what happens if you need to cancel.

5. Prescriptions

Prescriptions issued during a consultation are recorded in the system and made available to our pharmacy for fulfilment. Prescriptions are a clinical decision made solely by the treating doctor.

6. Account & data responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Every action of consequence taken on an account (bookings, payments, check-ins, prescriptions) is logged for accountability. Patient data is strictly separated by account — no patient can see another patient's information.

7. No medical advice via this website

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. Diagnosis and treatment are provided only during an actual consultation with the doctor.

8. Limitation of liability

While we take reasonable care to keep this website accurate and available, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from technical issues, delays, or third-party service interruptions (including payment gateway downtime) beyond our reasonable control.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the revised terms.
